Wallpaper Made Simple

From roll to wall - here`s how to do it beautifully.

A simple guide to make every roll a joy to install

General Preparation for All Wallpaper Types

  • Ensure walls are clean, dry, smooth, and stable.

  • Remove dust, grease, old wallpaper, or flaky paint.

  • Fill and sand any cracks or holes.

  • Apply a suitable primer or treatment depending on your wall type.

✦ Standard Wallpaper (Paste the Wall)

  • Use wallpaper paste directly on your wall, applying enough paste for one wallpaper strip at a time.

  • Smooth onto the wall with a damp sponge, avoiding pushing adhesive out the edges.

  • Allow wallpaper to settle for 15 minutes before trimming edges.

  • Use a soft roller to seal the joins gently.

  • Clean excess paste immediately.

✦ Premium Wallpaper (Spray the Wall)

  • Wall must be painted or primed prior to installation.

  • Lightly spray your wall using tap water (approx. 100ml per sqm).

  • Apply wallpaper onto the damp wall and reposition if needed within 10 minutes.

  • Align edges carefully, gently rolling seams with a soft rubber roller.

  • Remove adhesive residue with a damp sponge.

✦ Self-Adhesive Wallpaper (Peel-and-Stick)

  • Walls must be clean, dry, and smooth.

  • Peel 10–15 cm of backing and position wallpaper at the top of your wall.

  • Gradually peel backing while smoothing downward, avoiding bubbles.

  • Use a felt-edged squeegee at a 45-degree angle to remove bubbles.

  • Can be repositioned carefully. Remove gently if needed.
